How to i upload ringtones to my phone with a usb cord?

I just bought a usb cord for my lg rumor and i want to put ringtones on my phone. Does anyone know a website or anything so i can do this? Or does anyone know how i can do this?
Also, i was wondering if there is a way to do this without using a playlist from my computer and dragging stuff around from my playlists because i do not have itunes or anything like that.

   Your phone will come up on “my computer”.
   you can just copy the songs you want from “my music” and paste into “my computer” on your phone.

   you can get any music you want for free at any sites
   go to myxer.com, they have variety of music there and you can download ringtones and if you find the whole song you want, you can even choose which part and how long you want the ringtone to play

   When you plug it in, it should come as a pop-up on yor PC. You can either…

   Copy music FROM your pc (media.player/itunes) TO the phone by “copy/paste” method. Just literally select the folder/song u want, click/drag it to the “phone” music folder. I usually just open up “My Computer” so I can see where everything is actually pasting to. Yor phone will be on that list (hopfully) and you can look at both windows while moving files…
   OR
   Put all your songs on a playlist (using the media.player/itunes), THEN save it and upload it into the phone all together. I find the click and drag earier for me, I rarely like all the songs ona CD or mix….
   OR
   Email yourself the songs, then save to your media. This one is by far the least sucessful and most annoying. But whatever floats your boat!
