animated avatars?

   Animated avatars are basically images that are in the .gif picture format. This is because gif is the only picture format that can be animated. (Well, the only format that can be animated and still be supported by all web browsers.)

   Basically all you do is make pictures and put them in frames like a cartoon. Then you compile it in the gif format.

   I have found this site which is a free online gif animation tool .

   I personally would prefer a downloaded freeware tool that you can install and use from your computer. This because it is faster then using the online tool like gifworks.

   I can’t recommend any free ones because I use PaintShop Pro to make mine.
