How can i get into/start making flash games?

How can i learn to flash games?
Do i need to buy software to make the games? Or is it like playing flash games where you just need to download the free software?

How do i learn to make the good games that i see on the game sites? (there are some bad ones too obviously… but i want to make a good one hopefully

   You need to shell out the big bucks to get Adobe Flash. Then learn to use it. After you get your feet wet, you can look into specializing.
